An-Nyssa means The Woman in Arabic. As the name implies, these are pages on representations of women.
And my art is my tribute to my new viewpoint in life - absence of fear.
I'm not scared of being a sexual being, of being a strong woman, of being voluptuous and beautiful, of being smart. I'm not scared of being vulnerable, of needing and of being completely a woman in all the best possible ways.
It's taken several decades to get here, but here I am. I begun this page to share with friends and strangers my expressions of these feelings. Enjoy.

Thanks to those who've glanced through these paintings and even *gasp with surprise* noted them as favourites. I haven't had a chance to come here to post work because of constraints in my day job. I work for the UN agency for refugees and it's just been crazy hectic. But THANK YOU for all the very very kind words from all.
